1. The service
Ridgework writes training weeks for trail running, ultras and mountain objectives, from the date you choose and what you log. The service is online and starts when you create an account.
It is not medical care and it is not a guide. You remain solely responsible for your training and mountain safety decisions.
2. Price and trial
The first 14 days are free, with no card. No card is asked for during the trial, and nothing is charged during it.
If you add a card during the trial, the first €19 is charged on day 15, the day after your free days. Without a card your plan pauses that day; a card added later is charged on the day you add it. Then €19 every month, until you cancel. No other price is offered.
The price is shown in euros at checkout, with any tax Polar applies.
3. Ordering and payment
The subscription contract is made when you add a card and Polar accepts it.
Card payment is handled by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), which acts as reseller and merchant of record: Polar takes the payment and issues the invoices. Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment. Ridgework never sees your card number.
4. Length and cancelling
The subscription is monthly and renews every month until you cancel it.
You can cancel at any time, online, from the Membership tab in the app (the Cancel button), or from "Card and invoices", which Polar runs. Access continues to the end of the period already paid, then your plan pauses. A card added during the trial and cancelled before day 15 is never charged. Without a card there is nothing to cancel.
5. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from the day the subscription is made (the day you add a card) to withdraw, without giving a reason (art. L221-18 Code de la consommation).
To withdraw, send a clear statement to support@ridgework.org, or use the form below. The refund is made within 14 days, to the payment method you used, through Polar.
The service starts as soon as you add the card, at your request. If you withdraw, an amount in proportion to the service provided until you withdraw may be kept (art. L221-25).
6. Liability
Ridgework provides training weeks, not diagnoses and not guaranteed results. As far as consumer law allows, Ridgework is not liable for accidents, injuries or decisions made in the mountains or in training. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you.
7. Personal data
Your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
8. Complaints
If you have a problem, email support@ridgework.org first. We reply within 3 working days. If we can't solve it together, you can take the dispute to the competent French courts.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without taking away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in if you are a consumer in the European Union. The competent courts are those set by consumer law.
Withdrawal form
Optional. Fill it in and send it to support@ridgework.org only if you want to withdraw.
To Ridgework, support@ridgework.org:
